Location
Maron Products
has two main production facilities in close
proximity of each other. Our original
location on Industrial Drive boasts 88,000
square feet of production space and houses the
majority of the stamping
presses,
machining
centers, the tool and die shop, and the wash
line. In 2007 Maron moved its fast-growing
fabrication,
welding and
laser
cutting operations into
a 60,000 square foot facility in nearby South
Bend.
Maron Products is
centrally located in Mishawaka, IN, just south
of the Indiana Toll Road (I-80/90). Mishawaka
is about two hours east of Chicago, three hours
north of Indianapolis, and three hours west of
Detroit. Local attractions and major businesses
include Notre Dame University, the College
Football Hall of Fame, the Studebaker National
Museum, and the AM General assembly plant.

History
Maron
Products began operations in 1958 as a small
screw-machine shop. The name Maron is derived
from the first half of the last names of the two
founders, Lou Majors and John Roncz.
By 1960, Maron Products had entered the metal
stamping field courtesy of work from the former
Studebaker Automobile Company. Over time the
company grew as it expanded to accommodate the
needs of the nearby RV and mobile home
industries. The McMahon family became part
owners of Maron Products in 1980. Jerry
McMahon’s son, Paul, is currently president and
the company’s largest shareholder.
Recent enhancements include:
- Addition of laser cutting and brake bending
capabilities in 2005
- ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2006
- Purchase of 1600-ton stamping press in 2006
- Expand into dedicated fabrication facility in South Bend in 2007
- Purchase of second flat-bed laser in 2007 in response to increased production demands
- Purchase of multiple HURCO machining centers in
2008 to greatly expand capabilites
- Purchase of third flat-bed laser in 2009 in response to huge surge in military business
